“The 2019 Vidhan Sabha elections are a war for Haryana’s welfare and we need to fight not just on ground but even virtual world as BJP has corrupted it. Misusing social media to spread fake news, rumours and create unrest in one of the most peaceful states of the country, BJP taught us the power of social media to do wrong but now, we will teach them the power of same weapon to rectify and create awareness,” said state Congress president Kumari Selja while addressing a social media workshop of Congress workers.
Hailing the social media incharge and volunteers for harnessing power of Internet to the fullest benefit of party and voters, Selja said that what made Congress’s IT team better than the BJP’s. The workers here are bound by ideology while BJP had paid workers to spread lies, said Selja.

“You are future of the party and the state. I am proud of your performance. BJP surely can take a cue from your performance on what differentiates a mission driven youth and paid rumor mongers,” said Selja.
